The training leading up to the last race of the series has been hit and miss.  In the end it was worth every pedal stroke to stand on the podium - again !!  He brought home the hardware/wood after a great performance at Roslyn Rush.  He held on for 4th giving him 3rd overall in the Fat Tire Revolution Series.

This first climb was pretty brutal. Steep, about a mile long.  My head wasn't necessarily in the game, but it wasn't out of it either. I knew when I started that I didn't want to lead it out. I was 3rd wheel as we entered the climb and one guy messed up his line at an odd spot putting me in 2nd wheel.

First lap was fairly unpleasant, but I did okay. Second lap was a little better, only pushing at the top of the brutal section of the climb. I glanced back and saw what seemed like 4 or 5 guys chasing me. I just dug in and put it in the big ring whenever I could and rolled the DH as best I could. I pushed the pace on the flatter sections as much as I could and held everyone off. There may have only been 3 guys, but it seemed like more.
