Sunday, July 22nd was a great day to
accomplish a great feat! It was Bill
Sheahan's second year doing the Lake Placid Ironman and he rose up to the new
challenges that this Ironman brought forth!
The day was windy which perhaps contributed to his faster bike time
because even with a slightly reduced intensity factor compared to last years,
he posted a faster time. He must have
had the tailwind at the right location on the course!. The challenge this year was unexpected
blisters on the run, despite this new challenge he did enjoy the race and
smiled as he crossed the finish line.
Congratulations Bill!
