Long time PCG cyclist turned duathlete Evelyn Egizi scored
another podium at this weekend’s Naylor’s Beach Duathlon in Warsaw VA.
Ev got off to a rough start in the initial 2.5 mile run but
scorched the rest of the field on the bike to be the first women, of any age,
to start the final 6.2 mile run.
Ev held off the fastest runners most of the way and had to
throw in a kick for the last 2k to hold off her next closest rival to score
third of all women and first in her age group.
