Carlos Caraballo (Puerto Rico) won
1st place in his age group (50-59) in the endurance race Las 100 de La Parguera
for the 2nd year in a row! The 100-km mountain bike race included
muddy trails and road in the towns of Lajas and Cabo Rojo, near the southwest
coast of Puerto Rico. Carlos executed seamlessly on his plan for nutrition and
hydration during the race, which helped him complete the race strong and with a
good advantage over his rivals. Over 1500 riders were registered for this race.
