athlete Sarah Davidson scored a big win this past weekend at Ironman
70.3 Raleigh and also along the way qualified for the Ironman 70.3
World Championship. Sarah started off the day with a strong swim coming
out of the water with the 3rd fastest split for her 50-54 age group.
Sarah quickly powered her way into 1st place on the bike with a split of
2:47:24, good for the fastest bike split in her age group. Out onto the
run she really began to separate herself from her peers with a 1:39:22
(7:35/mile) run, good for the fastest run in her age group. Sarah
finished the day with a time of 5:03:26, 13 minutes ahead of second place.
