Mike Rickey takes 2nd at the Illinois State Maters Road Race (O’Fallon Grand Prix)

A race recap from Mike, "I had to work a little more than I wanted during the race. I got my 2 teammates in the front with 3k to go. We were 1-2-3. Brian started hard at the bottom of the last climb with 1k to go. Eric took over just before the last turn with 500 meters left. 2 guys jumped on the left and I hesitated but decided to move off of Eric’s wheel and got on theirs, although I was gapped a little my the hesitation. Tried sprinting but it was super hard to stand up. Finished 3rd in the field sprint, 4th overall and 2nd IL rider."
